NAD+ is the oxidised form of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, a coenzyme found in every living cell. It carries electrons in cellular energy metabolism and is the substrate for enzyme families such as sirtuins and PARPs, which is why NAD+ levels are a major focus of cellular-ageing and metabolism research.
NAD+ is often searched for as a “peptide”, but it is not one — it is a dinucleotide, built from two nucleotides joined through their phosphate groups. It is sold alongside peptides because it is studied in overlapping research areas. The same compound is also listed as a 1500 mg liquid spray.
